Nov 25, 2008 Drive Shaft Carrier Bearings Went Out. Wrench Light And Engine Light Would Illuminate When This Occurs. July 01, 2013 Driving On Highway At About 65 Miles Per Hour, Car Stopped Accelerating And When Pressed The Gas Pedal Car Actually Continued To Slow Down. While Driving At Lower Speeds, Around 30-40 Mph The Transmission Will Not Shift Out Properly. They Need To Replace Transmissions At Their Cost.
Gears Get Stuck At 40 Mph And Car Will Not Accelerate In Traffic. I Thought It Had Obeyed My Command And Shifted Into Reverse Before I Released The Brake. I Was Almost Hit Head On By Another On Coming Car. It would happen at intersections, when rolling thru then hitting the gas, and even while driving 65+ on the interstate. Its A Shame Cause Its Such A Beautiful Car And Now I Have Nothing But Mechanical Issues. The Vehicle Was Not Repaired And The Manufacturer Was Not Notified. The Same Action Can Result In Widely Varying Responses Of The Engine And Transmission, Apparently Depending On The Temperature Of The Air And Engine. No Change Since And Have Had Many Components Looked At.
