This one has me totally stumped. I looked for all types of fixes and work arounds but can't seem to get it to install! So the first file is whats important but just in case I included the second file of a tool that may also come in handy in some cases. Thanks all, after 10+ hours of fiddling with my computer, checking the registry and trying over and over until I thought I was loosing my mind I found out where my problem was. I did a computer search and deleted everything avg and still get this idiotic error. They would like you to buy their product, of course. I simply cannot download the new avg. So I am sticking with Avira AntiVir because it gave me no issues no matter how many times the poor program was uninstalled and reinstalled over 24 hours.
